What's old is new again...

The growing trend for GM, Ford and Chrysler lately has been producing "retro" styled cars. Ford started it all with the latest Mustang. It has been a major success for the company and badly needed since everything else isn't doing quite so well for them right now. Now we hear that GM is bring the Camaro back and giving it a retro look. The same goes for Dodge who just officially announced that the Challenger concept will be built in 2008. Now I actually like the look of the Mustang and the Challenger, but I'm wondering what next? How do you move a retro design forward for the next version of each of these cars. Please do not bring back the excessive body cladding of the late 80s Mustang GTs!!!
